CR Spring 2025 predictions
Alright, so as I did before the winter season started, I wanted to hear your thoughts and or opinions on what non sequel anime, should they be licensed by Crunchyroll next season, will make the cut for the simuldub list.
Now, I’ve counted about 8 shows that are either continuing from the winter season or are sequels coming next season. So, if we assume that the list comprises of 20 spots which I’m pretty sure is the normal for Crunchyroll, that would leave 12 slots for non sequels.
The following are what i personally think have a good chance of getting selected. I didn’t actually look at popularity statistics, but I watched trailers and think that these are shows that Crunchyroll might lean towards
Once Upon A Witch’s Death: The Tale Of The One Thousand Tears Of Joy
The Beginning After The End
Your Forma
Can A Boy-Girl Friendship Hold Up? (No, It Can’t!!)
I’m The Evil Lord Of An Intergalactic Empire!
Kowloon Generic Romance
From Old Country Bumpkin To Master Swordsman
The Unaware Atelier Master
Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All The Way From Another World!
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
Summer Pockets
Zatsu Tabi -That’s Journey-
The Shiunji Family Children
Me And The Alien MuuMuu
The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside By My Fiancé And Sold To Another Kingdom
Teogonia
A Ninja And Assassin Living Together
I feel like the above shows have the greatest chances. I know that Sentai has Sword Of The Demon Hunter licensed. But I don’t know if they have more, so feel free to correct me if one of the shows I listed has been picked up by them.
I personally am hoping to see Summer Pockets, The Too perfect saint and boy-girl friendship get selected. Teogonia, shiunji family children, the beginning after the end, mha vigilantes, from old country bumpkin to master swordsman I feel are locks. Especially shiunji family children, it’s a sibling series from Reiji Miyajima, creator of rent a girlfriend. Especially beginning after the end also, I’ve seen a LOT of hype around it. And then mha vigilantes is self explanatory.
Too perfect saint has a decent chance, but boy-girl friendship and summer pockets are more Hail Mary’s on my part.
