Why does no one seem to care that fascism just took over?

Everything that we have warned people about is coming to fruition, yet the general public is doing NOTHING. Not even a march or protest. The only people on the streets are politically active groups like progressives and LGBT, both of whom are going to be heavily affected by these new policies.

What happened?
