Food poisoning Thailand question
Hi , I got Diarrhea after the 2nd day here so I tried to not take anything for 4 days to let it pass that did nothing , I got some Loperamide and that worked but as soon as I stopped taking it came back.I researched the best antibiotics to take that has the least resistance for Thai food poisoned and came to the conclusion to take azithromycin 100 mg for 3 days , I'm going to try this with the BRAT diet which I will cook myself.I wanted to check this is all ok and my question is would you recommend taking azithromycin with Loperamide or just on its own , thanks very much.I am a male ,6 foot 1 , 205 pounds , I am in Koh Phagnan Thailand , I do not take any regular medication and do not have any significance or current medical history.
