Brawl Stars has a big problem

Resources:

anyone who isn't maxed is always in need of them. At the start of an account, the resource shortage is primarily power points, then it slowly transitions into coin shortage after many months of playing - but why? Brawlers: there are currently 87 Brawlers excluding buzz lightyear, and with so many brawlers naturally the demand for resources is at an all time high. For p2p players, the loot given through the brawl pass+ is actually quite good but if you were to look at only the f2p side of the brawl pass, the loot itself is abysmal. A F2P player has absolutely no chance of ever being maxed without putting all there efforts into maximizing their resources (a bit more on that later). Now before I keep dogpiling brawl stars, we can't forget about masteries; masteries is an easy and consistent method for farming loot, and while it does help a lot it's still does not compare to the total amount of resources required. Now I don't want to come off like some entitled brat demanding more loot, but the amount of resources required to completely max a brawler far exceeds that what is given through the brawl pass, including the brawlers masteries. Excluding the level, the minimum amount of coins required to max a brawler (HC and all gears too) is exactly 17k coins that's the minimum at 6 gears compared to the brawlers that have epic and mythic gears. 17k minimum, you can go ahead and compare that to a brawler masteries and brawl pass. That's a big issue and incredibly unfair for the F2P players.

The real problem:

Ever since boxes were removed and Starr road introduced, the rate at which brawlers were being unlocked absolutely soared, to the extent the resources given were not enough for the brawlers a player had. So what does that have to do with anything? Well, we also happen to have another culprit, and that's special events. The special events while are meant to be fun and a bit of a cash grab, it typically gives a lot of cosmetics, and while that in itself wouldn't be a bad thing, the events themselves have a higher chance of giving brawlers. I personally don't see why brawl stars 5 players the chance to unlock brawlers while still depriving us of the resources needed to actually level them up. At first, this problem was hardly noticeable, but as the events kept coming, the problem grew larger. In fact, you can take a look at the profile posts. You'll see many players with brawlers unlocked but at a very low level or trophies. I do believe brawl stars will eventually buff the resources again since the resources still have to keep up with the brawlers (imagine having to upgrade 100 brawlers), but who knows how long that will take if at all.

Tips on how to optimize your resources:

Power points: The best ways to optimize your PP is to only upgrade brawlers to P10, the reason why is because the resources required for P11 is almost doubled that of P10, and in my opinion it's better to have more P10 brawlers than have fewer P11 brawlers. Of course, you do have the right to upgrade a brawler P11, but I hope you make the good choices. Coins: Another good tip is to stop spending coins on everything, if you want to be incredibly stingy/safe, than it's best to not buy any gadgets, SP and HC for low tier brawlers, the best way to get these is through drops, HC for example cost 5k, but let's say you have all the HC, the game will instead reward you with 1k coins, so it's all in your best interest to never spend on HC, and to a lesser extent gadgets and SP. Of course, this can only help so much. There's nothing we can do if brawl stars decide to drop 3 brawlers within 2 months.

I do hope they buff the loot soon enough, I personally really need to start upgrading my alt account. Change needs to happen, and I don't see why brawl stars have let it happen for so long. Do something brawl stars

Edit: this isn't much of an issue for casual players since they typically play the brawlers they like, but for players who actually want to take the game more serious, than it is a big problem that needs fixing.
