Abondoned Porsche 924?

So, i’ve lived in this area all my 22 years and for as long as I can remember this car has been sitting there literally forever. There have been a few times where i’ve ran/drove past this car and not really gave it a second thought. Today it was in the back of my mind so after work I decided to take a closer look.

After thinking about this thing all day, turning up I didn’t really know what to think. So I took a few photos and to my surprise there actually two of them, as you can see they’re a bit worse for wear.

I’ve blurred the reg out of respect for the owner (if there is one) but the red one, one record, has never had an MOT and been SORN. I don’t really know what to do with this information and would like to knock around a few houses near by to see what is really going on with the two 924s.

Would it be worth it? Any ideas would be appreciated!
