Anyone else's dobe get vocal when you tell them they can't have something?

She only mouths off like this to my husband (her favorite playmate to roughhouse with). He was trying to take away a blanket she wanted to shred to pieces.

She'll sometimes sit and growl/whine at him when he just says "no" to stop her chewing on something. Nothing ever comes of it. The vet calls it "attention seeking behavior."

I coulda told them that 😅
