How does introversion and extraversion balance out for you (socially)?

I've read that ENFPs are "extraverts amongst introverts and introverts among extraverts". This resonated with me a lot (and made me more certain I was an ENFP rather than INFP) - but I'm wondering how you perceive the social world and yourself in it.
