English grammar
So im arabic and study english class and today the class was about making a sentence, so he told us an arabic sentence and told us to translate it to english the sentence in arabic was “باب السيارة مغلق" Which means the car door is closed
So i told him that and he said its grammatically wrong and should be
“The door of the car is closed” Instead of “The car door is closed”
So my question is, is that right? Though i never knew anyone native in english speak that way its way long and not efficient
