Is Eldenring a good first Souls-Like game?

I have been intrigued by souls like games for a while and Eldenring espescially seems to be a pretty amazing game. However I have never played any of the Souls-like games (no Darksouls, no Bloodbourne no Sekiro) since I always believed the insane difficulty in these games would push me away. Would you say Eldenring could be a good starting point? Or might a different title be better for my first souls-like game?
