“Is he complaining too much? If yes, you should dump him”

Do native speakers ever use the constitution “if yes/if not”? Does it sound natural?

Cause when I think about it this is exactly how we say it in my native language. Want to make sure I’m not just translating it word for word from my own language and that it does make sense in English
