Super disappointed

I just signed up for equinox end of last month and I am SO disappointed.

For one, the sales person in the gym signed me up for the wrong membership (they selected regional, but I wanted access to other clubs around the US as well bc I travel a lot). I call the gym and ask for it to be fixed, they tell me to wait for an email. The person on the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive, just said “well get that solved” and hung up with no goodbye and I still had other questions. I get an email THREE days later offering to help me sign up for a membership as a first time member. I call back, and they tell me I should get an email back in FOUR days. I’m traveling next week so I need to get my membership switched ASAP so I can workout for the next few weeks across the state.

Secondly, the workout classes are not hard at all. Now, I’m no athlete and just started working out 2 months ago, but at my old yoga studio the classes were much more challenging and actually followed a traditional “yoga flow”. The ones at equinox aren’t difficult at all and are just random poses with no flow or repetition at all. On top of that, there’s no space in the classes ever so I can never get it.

Im so upset I just wish I could cancel. I wish the gym was open longer (esp on weekends) and I feel like I just wasted time.

Anyone else have this experience?
