why are there so many lowballers??

Title says it all… I’ve never sold on a website where there has been this many lowballers. I’ve only sold one item where I actually sold it for the listed price. All my prices are pretty reasonable as well, I’m listing for the lowest price I’ll take which is often half of what I bought it for, sometimes more and people still ask for less! Not even just 5 dollars less, but 15 or more?? It’s insane… I’m thinking I’ll have to list at 20 dollars more of what I want to sell it for because of the inevitable lowballing messages I’ll receive 🥲 Does anyone else experience this or is it just me??
