2 ways this could go

This girl really cares about me. Asks me to call her when I get home, tells me to drive safe etc. She cares about my view on her. She respects me as she's said many times but unfortunately she doesn't like me as more than really good friends. All her pasts relationships has been bad due to the men she dated. Last night she got over her touch fear and hugged me. Nothing crazy but she hates touch unless she's very comfortable. So I'm not sure if I just say straight up if you want this to continue we are gonna have to date. And if she wants to be friends I leave. Or do I push and pull method at this point
