Time Zones?

I'm looking for an explanation on release TIME for Pacific Time for streaming...some outlets are reporting 9pm for both ET and PT, which seems unlikely to me since, y'know, time zones exist, but they are reputable publications. Others are reporting 9pm ET and 6pm PT, which makes more sense to me but I'm uneasy because I'm seeing it otherwise elsewhere. I looked on the Max website and they just say 9pm, no mention of time zone at all. I'm trying to make plans that night and was hoping to watch it early and go out later but that's not feasible if it's 9 Pacific. Any idea?
