This The Golden Road arrived a month ago, and I just freed it from its amazon packaging. facepalm life has been absolutely insane lately, Between work and personal stuff, you know how it is. I feel so guilty it’s been sitting on my study table, judging me. But honestly? The anticipation has been building, This is my first Dalrymple book and I have heard such amazing things about him, how he is considered one of the great modern historians. I have especially heard incredible things about The Last Mughal . I’m really excited to finally learn more about our influence and its impact in that age, how the world has been transformed by what took place then. I’m finally ready to dive in.
Anyone else have books taunting them from their TBR pile ? Tell me I’m not alone.
