what are some nasrani traditions that you still do in your family or used to do !!

Hey, I'm an Orthodox Christian, and I realize I don't know much about the traditions. However, I absolutely love learning about what others do, and I might ask my ammachi if she used to do the same things! It would be wonderful to discover more about our rich culture. ;)

edit (some stuff I do know)

• making pidi and kozhi for the thing where like some young boys do something in church as nercha (offering ) if someone knows what its called i'd appreciate it!
• the thread from the mantrakodi for the thaali before the wedding
• banana (poovan pazham) and paani for madhuramveppu ??
