How do I let myself be sad

I'm having kind of a shitty time lately and I kinda want to just lay down and cry a bit, but I can't seem to make it happen. I'm a big ball of anxiety, I have a headache, I'm really tired and I feel like I should be able to wallow for a bit rn but it's not working. So I guess I'm just looking for any suggestions on how to make myself miserable for a few hours idk
