Mankey Rarely Hits First Turn

Is it just me or does mankey rarely ever hit heads specifically on the very first turn? When i say first turn i mean putting him in the first slot right when the game starts. I tested it out and it hit heads 2/25 times for me. Atp i know it’s just gonna hit tails. There’s been many times i could have ended the game turn 1 because the opponent only had 1 pokémon in at the start of the game but this mankey doesn’t know anything except for tails. It’s not a make or break thing but it’s kind of annoying i cant ever get 50 damage off rip.
