People who get offended when you call them “Ma’am or Sir” are annoying.

Those who get seriously offended over being called Ma’am/Sir should get over themselves. And no, I’m not referring to being misgendered. I’m talking about the people who say “I hate being called Ma’am/Sir ”. If a person is trying to get your attention and they don’t know your name, how else should they get your attention? Also, if they don’t know your name and are trying to address you, what are they supposed to address you as? Would you rather them say “Hey you thing!”? No I highly doubt it. Let’s say for example, I go into a store and I need help looking for something or a have a question. I ask a retail associate for help. I always say “Excuse me ma’am/sir que question” as opposed to just blurting out “Hey you!” If someone calls you Ma’am or Sir, they’re being polite and displaying good manners. It’s not meant to be this personal affront. Stop trying to look for disrespect that isn’t there.
