Applying for Radiography degree - questions and advice?

I’m 25 and studied BA Business Management. I’m considering a second BSc in Diagnostic or Therapeutic Radiography and have some concerns:

1. I didn’t take Science or Maths at A-Level (AAB overall) but got GCSEs A/A/B/B in Bio/Chem/Maths/Phys. Should I apply for a Foundation Year course for Radiography?

2. How competitive are Radiography courses at Russell Group universities like Liverpool?

3. I missed the UCAS equal consideration deadline. Should I still apply for 2025 entry with only 1 day of care home volunteering experience and no Radiography shadowing yet (still waiting on responses from hospitals)?

4. Or wait 1 year (apply for 2026 entry) and use this time to gain more voluntary experience, do shadowing and strengthen my application?

Note: I work with the public professionally (front of house) in my job but it’s not healthcare related (tourism).
