But does anyone else punch their horse to get them to cooperate?

Whenever my horse refuses to cooperate (in this instance he wouldn't move and I couldn't mount him), I punch him in the head. Works every time.

It's especially effective for correcting the horse when they frantically look behind themselves as you ride along
