Why do sitters fake update their availability?

I am trying to use Rover for the first time ever. However, all 7 sitters I contacted did exactly the following:

I view their profile and it clearly says availability updated (less than 15 days ago). And every single one of them replied that they are out of town for the dates I reached out to them. One even said she is moving. So update your profile.

I am very disillusioned with this service. All the sitters charge full-time employment rates but cannot even run a calendar.

Why is this so hard?
