Tampon

I'm 18f and I have never used tampon, instead I use pads... I made my mind to use tampon hereafter. I was told that using tampon may break my hymen and cause pain... is it true girls...?lil afraid that's why.... Also I was told that if I use tampon, it may be difficult to remove...is it...?
