Having a hard time emotionally and it's reflecting a bit on my faith

I'm going through heartbreak right now and I don't know what to do. I feel so hopeless, and i don't understand why God put this person in my life if it was supposed to end like this. I'm doing my best trying to accept the situation and move on, but it's so difficult. I was feeling better but these last days i went back to stage zero.
