Favorite "in plain sight" twists?
Basically, what're your favorite twists that were right in front of you the entire time, or ones where you easily guessed it while still being satisfying?
Batman Arkham City has the Clayface reveal. If you actually know what to look for, it's pretty obvious. Using Detective Mode on "Joker" reveals that he has no bones, the fact that the medicine worked super fast, "the old fake Joker gag", numerous bits of dialogue from Harley or various mooks talking about him being different or being in multiple places at once, and there's a scene where the real Joker can be heard faintly coughing in the background. It still manages to be a satisfying twist.
Otto in Spider-Man PS4. From the moment you first see him, you're just waiting for the other shoe to drop. But, until then, they take the time to build up why he falls, his relationship with Peter and Norman, and manage to sneak in foreshadowing that he was planning all along. For example, Peter finds a giant ass needle in the lab that's later used by Scorpion, and a white board of The Raft and all of its potential weak points. Yeah, it's an obvious "twist", but it still manages to work due to how well it's handled.
