Advice for a New Member of the Swarm

I have an idea for the army I want to build, and I have a few of the models already. I just want advice on what I should be doing with my army, and any hints, tips, or tricks are much appreciated.

My army has only one real constraint. I want to have a Bio-Titan in the 2,000 points. I know it uses a lot of them, but I think it would be fun to whip out the massive figure at the start of Placing Units.
