First time owner anxiety
Hi, I will be picking up my eight week old male Yorkie this coming Wednesday and I am scared shitless. Just a little background I am 22 male and I currently stay alone. This will be my first ever pet. I’ve never had any type of animal when I was younger, so when the opportunity present it itself for me to get a Yorky. I was thrilled, but I don’t know what to expect. Ive watch 1000 videos and still have no clue what to expect. I’ve purchased the crate the playpen puppy pads treats toys you name it I probably bought it already. My fear is that, I screw up along the process. I don’t know what to do. I only can go based off of what videos I’ve seen and articles I’ve read. I’m currently coach for a middle school rowing team so I have a very low commitment with work. Practice is only two hours three days a week other than that my schedule is pretty open. I do have some office hours, but it’s a five minute drive from my house, any tips suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
