Possible multiple statement of charges for platoon member. Looking at struggling to make bills in the future.
So long story short, My friend (e5) is in a serious bind. We were without platoon sgt for a period of time and he was forced to sign for our very large hand receipt because there was no one else. He had tried to fight it, but our supply threatened to article 15 him if he didn’t and so he reluctantly did. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s written proof of this either. Shortly after he did we ended up getting a new PLT sgt but he was with us for 7 months without ever signing for the hand receipt like he should have. In that 7 months our property became a mess because my friend was waiting for him to sign and never did. All the while, the PLT sgt, who had access to all kinds of items on the hand receipt, was mostly the one dealing with some of the property. Things like giving people laptops. A lot of this was happening without 2062s. Recently the PLT sgt left, and now the property book is an absolute mess and things are missing that my friend never dealt with directly because our PLT sgt did. He’s looking at multiple expensive statements of charges and he’s having a very hard time with it. If they end up deleting his paycheck and he can’t pay his bills, what happens? Would different payment plans accommodate for this? He’s married and him and his wife are terrified they’re not going to be able to pay their bills and survive. He gets out in 10 months too, so he’s worried he’s not gonna have enough money to prepare for getting out. If anyone has advice, please let me know I want to look out for him.
