Different pupil size due to shock?
Jack had a fight on Thursday with my neighbour's cat.
I called the vet immediately, because his pupils were different sizes. She said that it was likely to be shock, but since we couldn't find any cuts on him, and we know the other cat is vaccinated, she didn't push for antibiotics. She said his eyes would go back to normal on their own.
It's now Saturday, and his pupils aren't back to normal yet. I assumed that if it was shock, they would go back quickly?
My vet is shut at the moment because it's a weekend. There is an emergency vet, but they're quite busy and very expensive - I doubt this is an emergency. But should I be worried? Anything I should be keeping an eye out for?
(He is eating normally, and seems like his normal self.)
