Need help plz

Hey, this is going to be hard for me to say but girls have always made me nervous and I’ve never been ready for a girlfriend. I’m a sophomore in college and I felt like I am ready so I downloaded Tinder and hinge and I’ve tried to flirt with girls. We match with each other I’m able to start a convo and later get there number. We keep talking so I usually asked them on a date. But everytime sumthing happens, they ghost me or they make sum excuses. I need help, am I missing sumthing, am I not flirting right??
