Let's discuss current favorite DPS

I'm on the tail end of Stormblood so have access to everything but Viper. I've leveled all jobs to 60-70. Was going to make a post discussing them all but figured I'd focus on DPS for the sake of length. Here's where I'm at, and I'd love to hear your takes.

Favorite:

Red Mage - I like the style and the flair, and the burst window is incredibly satisfying even if you do feel a touch weaker in the buildup. But there's still enough variety even in that to keep me entertained.

Love:

Machinist and Bard - the things I like about these are nearly identical. It's so freeing to be able to run around and continue damaging freely, and both have really powerful bursts. I probably give the edge to Bard now that I've gotten north of 60 with both.

Black Mage - It took me forever to get started on this one but I have a blast with it now, but mostly for dungeons. When you get on a roll and just started bombing away on a boss fight, watching the damage add up is amazing.

Reaper - Love the aesthetic, damage, and moveset. I'm still figuring this out a bit as it was overleveled compared to the rest of my classes so hasn't gotten as much playtime, but I love what I've played.

Like:

Ninja - The speed and damage options are really cool. Some useless abilities that drag it down some.

Monk - I like the fast consistent damage. I feel like once I get on target they're going to quickly wear down. To me it suffers from lacking abilities to weave in throughout. Took me awhile to figure out the right look for my character, but now it's growing on me.

Indifferent:

Dancer - I started off liking Dancer but I get so bored of it so quickly. It just feels so slow and simple, but I do like the damage and the step combo is quite satisfying.

Summoner - Never used it beyond the unock quest

Viper - Haven't gotten that far yet.

Dislike:

Dragoon - I've never liked dragoons in any game. Estinien's vibe almost won me back over but then I saw the artifact armor options and they lost me again. Moves are boring to me, questline is uninteresting. This just isn't my vibe.
