Gallbladder finally out!
So I got my surgery yesterday at 10:30 am and was out pretty quick I woke up around 1 I guess, I did experience a little bit of nausea but not that bad and I do have stomach pain it’s random but it’s not there the whole time. It did hurt when I first stood up for the first time. I didn’t take pain killers till I got home. I’d say my pain was like a 4 out of 10 but it will come and go. I didn’t take pain medication till I got home.
I was really scared at first, but it went better than I imagined. Today I still feel mild pain mostly in my stomach area and I did feel the discomfort in my arms I guess because of the air, but I kinda did walk yesterday plenty times so I guess that helped. Also the first day, yesterday I did feel palpitations in my stomach which was weird but it was a couple of times.
Today I still feel a slight pain I do feel scared going to the bathroom to do number 2. But I have peed yesterday several times.
With food they told me to be in a diet. I don’t know how some people have pizza or burgers the next day. How is that ? They told me to be in a diet for a month in a half. But it’s ok I’m used to it already since I’ve been eating like that in 3 months since I had my attack. Also I’m sacred to eat solids, they told me to try eating today which is my second day, so I’ll see how that goes.
How was everyone else’s experience? And when did you guys the pain kinda of went away? Hopefully I recover fast which I think I am. Because I did get to sleep well, walked often and just drank liquids and soup. Also I did get 4 incisions, how many did you guys get?
