Newer Vehicle Building Survival Games on Steam (Good Luck lol)?

Space Engineers and Trailmakers (IK, weird combo) has some of the best vehicle building (space and land respectively) on the, uh, I guess market?

Empyrion Galactic Survival has phenomenal PvE content and an active development team, but the physics and what you can make vehicles do (especially on land) doesn't compare to the former two.

What would be wonderful is a game that could merge those three together. Unfortunately, we happen to live in reality. It has been a bit since I have looked to see if there are any new contenders on the market (Yep, I'm going with "market).

I am looking for something like those three that has a solid survival mode with some PvE content. I tend to prefer planet gameplay over space. Any suggestions?

Ones I am already aware of (this is the part where I shit on all the games):

Space Engineers (I consider to be functionally abandoned by devs content wise and has little PvE content even with mods, especially on planet)

Trailmakers (No combat and short Lost in Space campaign is the end of the "things to do" part)

Empyrion (Lot's of content, great dev team, inferior vehicle building and handling compared to former two)

Scrap Mechanic (Devs released a half baked survival mode and said "this is fine" and have left it basically untouched for two years)

TerraTech (Vehicles were simple and not very fun to control and that was a solid refund)

PlanetNomads (Devs lost funding and it was abandoned in a very early state)

Brick Rigs (No survival mode/ combat)

Stormworks (I want survival, but never personally played it so I can't 100% judge it)

StarBase (Little content, all space content, playing feels like stepping on a lego)

SimplePlanes (I prefer land vehicles and I have never touched myself while thinking of aviation)

No Man's Sky (No vehicle building, combat is pretty lame, escape the planet bit lasts like two and a half seconds)

Subnautica (Great, but not what I'm looking for right now)

(I like parentheses)
