Help Is it fine to skip grade 9?

The main reason I wanna skip is because I'm year older than everyone because I started school late. My grades are pretty good just As and Bs, I'm mature , some subjects seem easy to me and im the top 15% in my grade. Also I was wondering if skipping grade 9 will affect how university's view me and if it affects the chances of me getting accepted in the future. BTW I live in Australia and I want to study so I can become a Physician or Surgeon. Also I was homeschooled for 3 terms in grade 7.
