Tight lower lip after genioplasty

It's been a week since I had genioplasty. But my bottom lip is so tight. It kinda feels like I'm gonna tear apart the stitches or break the muscles whenever I'm tryna pour water out of my mouth. I can move my lips, but it feels so weird like soemthing is poking it in the center where bottom lip is folded.

As per my knowledge, it's expected in the early days of these kinda surgery. Even my doctor said that it's nothing to worry about.

But still curious about how long did it take to feel normal in your case. Did you take any extra steps like exercising or did it happen automatically?
