RCPD Surgery Booked!

After years of talking to doctor after doctor looking for answers and help, to only be dismissed and not taken seriously… I finally had my head and neck speciality appt yesterday.

I truly went into this appointment, ready to not take no for an answer! But I didn’t have to! Finally someone who knows what the hell this is and how to help me! She said I have every symptom to a T. (Gurgles, hiccups, inability to burp, bloating, toots, etc.) and she booked me for surgery! And I couldn’t be more excited. I feel like this is going to really change my life for the better.

I just want to say thank you Reddit noburp page! It was so comforting to know there are other people with the same weird no burp issue as me. I learned a lot from this page. If it wasn’t for this page I would have listen to the dumb doctors who almost refused to refer me to head and neck specialist, and went down the GI specialist route.. because of this page I knew it was a throat issue and not a tummy issue. This page gave me the confidence to be my own self advocate, determined to get to the bottom of it and it is finally paying off!
