Terrible inner-city public transport
Here's my journey to work from my partners - mount lawley to East Perth, suburbs that are literally next to each other. It's a 27minute public transport journey, requiring a bus and a train and some walking, as opposed to a 7 minute direct drive. It's less than 10minutes more to walk, and google maps underestimates my pace.
Why is there no connecting public transport options for these kinds of suburbs? It was the same when I lived in North Perth - despite being the suburb over from my partner, I had to go into the city and back out to get there via public transport. I know this is a shorter journey than many, but I've found this an annoying inconvenience for almost a decade, and with our lack of care for public transport I doubt it'll ever change.
Whinge over!
