Was the CVT designed by a car?
Rode out on the Chester Valley Trail for the first time today and I probably will not be riding it again.
There seem to be sketchy and long light cycle crossings every few miles and some miles have several. You have to press beg buttons and sit in medians and cross slip lanes at several places, and a few of the beg buttons didn’t even work. A lot of the trail is along a deafening highway. And the Norristown section.. you’re literally routed onto the sidewalk and there’s a full on encampment at the “trail junction” center.
Any trail where there previously wasn’t trail is great.. but it seems to me as though trail users were given the lowest priority at every single opportunity here, I was almost laughing to myself about it!
I hope they make some improvements because I didn’t see all that many other riders or pedestrians using it compared to the SRT and I can understand why. It’s also only a matter of time until somebody gets hurt at one of the intersections too.
