headmates/fictives/tulpas, how did you get oriented when you first woke up?

in my plural app(which might be named "& more"), i want to have a customizable system for orienting new members that's as easy to find and understand as possible.

since we share memories, even the fictives here immediately understand what's happening, designing this feature around ourselves wouldn't quite work.

so i wanna hear from you guys and how you got adjusted.
