do teens hate gay ppl?

in my class yesterday the topic of gay people came up. guess how many out of 25 16yo kids were against them and called them "sick"... 24!! I was the only one supporting them while most of the other 24 so passionately hated on them...

online I see a lot of teenagers supporting or even being in the lgbtq community... it seems like, at least in my country and ar least to some extent, it's not the same irl. I was and still am in shock...
