Who has watched Game of Thrones recently and how did you like it?

It’s been over 5 years since the show completed. This was THE big show when it came to prepandemic water cooler talk for a lot of folks. Probably the last show that I remember people tuning into every week and discussing the following day, at length. So many online discussions, and theories, and vlogs, and recaps.

Unfortunately the last two seasons were widely panned for their apparent decrease of quality, depth, rushed story lines, use of fast travel, massive plot holes, and many many unresolved character arcs.

So I want to know, those of you who took on the task to watch all of it recently for the first time, when it wasn’t part of your office/school/family/friends’ lives, how did you like it? Did you go in blind? Did you finish it? Was there a point where you noticed a change in quality?
