should i be doing CS or SE?
I am currently in year 13, and i enjoy my schools digital technology course, and am wondering which degree is more suited to me.
I have good grades in NCEA level 2, basically straight Es in calculus and stats, but had a bad teacher in physics which i believe caused me to get straight Ms for my externals. I also got straight Es in my digital technologies course.
However, I have no idea which degree I should pick, as physics isn’t really my favourite subject (favourites are digital and calc) and probably don’t want to have to do general first year engineering.
From what I’ve heard, i can do comp science as a conjoint which I might want to do with something in the finance section, for job opportunities in financial software engineering.
any advice please let me know, whether you are a current student or not, and feel free to ask me any question
