Would this lock up thicker than the others? I combined 2 dreads to make it thicker because it was to skinny.

is there a reason why some of my locs jus do this, but In the back they all lay down. I used a crochet on some of the front ones and I’m wondering if it does that because of the crochet I used on some of them to stop the frizz. I crocheted about 2 weeks ago.
