Detailsprites straight up disappear or turn slightly transparent in some of my maps but only when looking in a certain direction. What could be the issue?

Hammer++ Full compiled L4D2 map, how do I fix these ugly visible seams between brushes? the lightmaps are all even and aligned properly but I have this issue on all maps. What am I doing wrong? Seems to happen whenever a light is nearby.

Rotated the entire map so the skybox looks better in game. After doing so the headlights following the truck in the back go off track. Any ideas why?

Mapping for L4D2, after completing a chapter the survivors and weapons spawn outside/away from the saferoom when the next map loads. I've got everything set up properly so I'm stumped.

What is something from the beta builds you would've wanted in the final game? I feel like the Smoker's poison-damaging smoke cloud would have made him more of a threat without being too overpowered.
